Aprenda is a conceptual web application designed for current and potential students. It features sections for finding a degree program, finding classes, applying for jobs, managing finances, and monitoring trends. As the Lumina Foundation has specified, Aprenda makes it a user-friendly program choosing interface a priority. Aprenda offers the ability to compare multiple programs, see their payoff, and see their classes. The application uses a “cart” metaphor that allows students to enroll, add courses to their cart, and checkout. This familiar process is designed to be quick and intuitive for any student user. In addition to programmed utility, the application features sections where students can ask questions and view other students’ questions and answers.
